Web Content Administrator, Web Consultant
- Manage, research, and edit content across all university’s webpages (~11,000 webpages) (Aquifer CMS)
- Consult on all University website redesigns (2007, 2009, 2013 & 2016); Design best practices, Quality Assurance)
- Collaborate with graphic designers, web designers, web developers, and other staff to create and update web content
- Serve as technical consultant for the Marketing Communication Office when vetting vendors for integration of new web products and services
- Demonstrate working knowledge of web design, information architecture, and usability concepts as evidenced by creation of website content, web forms, and website navigation structure
- Implement content updates in a dynamic site infrastructure utilizing an advanced Content Management System (CMS), directly editing HTML and JavaScript source code
- Work with video services to set up and capture event video for live streams
- Run broken link and spelling error reports (InSpyder)
- Create and manage short-URLs
- Embed Rich Media (YouTube, Picasa, ISSUU etc)
- Manage numerous, unique image slideshows
- Create and manage web guidelines; interface with staff, students, administration, faculty and vendors on following web guidelines and manage expectations
